Mr. B G Deshmukh
has been an Ex- Principal Secretary to Prime Minister. He has also held the position
of Cabinet Secretary; Chief Secretary, Maharashtra Government; Municipal Commissioner
of Mumbai during his illustrious and distinguish service of 39 years with Government.
Mr. Deshmukh is presently associated with various NGOs and social organization as
President, Bombay Natural History Society, Chairman, Action for Good Governance
& Networking in India (AGNI) and involved in Economic activities as Chairman, Siporex
India Ltd, Director, Finolex Cables, Director, Venky’s (India) Ltd.
